The Edwards Family has been in Montana since the early 1890’s. In June, 2019, Mr. Edwards's statewide Plaintiff’s Practice reaches 45 years. His trial practice has resulted in two (each over eight figures) of the top five jury verdicts entered in Montana. He has secured the largest (eight figures) affirmation by the Montana Supreme Court of a jury verdict. He also accomplished what is believed to be Montana’s largest single injury settlement- a significant eight figure cash payment for horrific burns in the Bakken Oil Fields. Mr. Edwards belongs to The International Academy of Trial Lawyers, American College of Trial Lawyers and ABOTA; ATLA President’s club; Montana Trial Attorney of the year; AV Martindale Hubble rating for 35 years; listed in The Best Lawyers in America, 33 years, and is a member of both the Yellowstone County and Montana Bar Associations. His practice covers all matters of personal injury, insurance bad faith, environmental cleanup of Montana property, defective products, workplace injuries and death in Bakken Oil Fields, and on construction sites across Montana. Having both his children, Christopher and John, as his Law Partners is the highlight of Mr. Edwards’ continuing career.
